Amal (meaning Hope), a Palestinian woman from Hebron in the West Bank, embodies the spirit of Sumud—steadfastness—despite the challenges she faces. Battling cancer, she crafts beautiful hand-embroidered purses (16x11 cm) and coin purses (11x8 cm) to support herself and fund her treatment.
